SIG-11 Computer Applications Show-and-Tell 2003

Call for SIG-11 Show & Tell Ideas

Its show time again. After much whining, the SIG-11 Show & Tell is NOT scheduled for the last slot on Monday. This year it will be Saturday, June 21st at 1:15 to 3:00 pm.

The topics for the Show & Tell sessions can be adaptations to computer devices or software, tips on the use of new computer hardware or software, little-known products, unusual combinations of different devices or programs, or unique ways to use computers as assistive technology. Presentations will be short and informal. We will have 5 or 6 presentations of about 12 minutes each with time for questions.

If you would like to be part of this session, please send me a short description of the case study or adaptation you would like to present. I will combine those descriptions into a hand-out for the session. RESNA provides a computer, video projector, overhead projector, slide projector and videotape player so you may use any of those media for your presentation.

We don't want topics in the Show & Tell that should be full conference sessions or poster sessions. It is intended as a venue for exchanging tips and practical examples.

Thanks all, look forward to seeing you at the Hyatt.
