Hello everyone!
About a month ago I mentioned that as part of the "revitalization" of SIG-11, I would post a list of ideas that people could look at if they would like to volunteer a bit of time. I have listed a few items. If anyone is interested in sharing any of these ideas with another person, that is wonderful! You could even post a request stating that you would like to work with a partner on an submitting an article for the RESNA News if you are not interested in doing by yourself. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know!
What topics would you like to see at RESNA 2005 from SIG-11?
If you are hosting an event (Computer Expo, etc.), let us know! There may be many RESNA members in your area that would like to see your work, or just get to know you! Send your information to Dave Jaffe.
Would you like to help contact developers and researchers for exhibiting in the annual Developers Forum at RESNA 2005.
Would you like to work together with a colleague or two? Submit a proposal for a workshop or instructional course. Proposal deadline is Wednesday, October 13, 2004.
Volunteer to monitor RESNA listserv and/or SIG-11 listserv for workshop topics of interest. Bring to attention high areas of interest to listserv members, as the listserv can provide content for evidence-based papers and proposals!
Contribute to RESNA by sending in questions for the ATP/ATS exam.
