Dear SIG-11 members:

With the conference just 3 weeks away, here are some requests and reminders ...

1) SIG-11 Meeting / Forum / Networking Session Monday June 30th, 8:00a - 9:00a

We are scheduled to meet from 8:00a-9:00a on Monday June 30th. This is really our one very short opportunity to meet in person as a group each year, so let's make the most of it. We will try to minimize the business side of things and focus on networking, discussion, SIG-11 activities & issues, etc. Please consider rising early to attend, even though the time slot isn't ideal. Any jet lag should be worn off by this last day of the conference!

2) SIG-11 - Call for topics and agenda items for meeting

If you have topics or agenda items for us to talk about at our annual SIG-11 meeting at the conference, please email them to me.

3) SIG-11 - Call for nominations for chair elections

Please consider nominating yourself or someone yourself or someone else from SIG-11 to serve a year's term as chair or vice-chair of SIG-11. We hope to conduct the voting via email rather than consuming our limited conference time.

4) General - Reminder to register for the conference.

You can register by online or by paper/fax.

5) General - Reminder to make hotel reservations by Wednesday June 4th

Call by Wed June 4th (that's "today" by the time many of you receive this) to get the conference rate, which is a particularly good rate this year considering the relatively high rates in this area.

If you are told that the room block is sold out, book the nights they have available and then contact the RESNA office to let them know and to see if additional rooms can be added to the block.
