RESNA Computer Applications Show and Tell
RESNA 2008
May 20, 2008
Do you have a fascinating computer access solution which you would like to
share with others, but haven't had the forum to do so? The annual SIG-11
Computer Applications Show and Tell may be your place to shine! Each year this
lively session gives the chance for presenters to highlight some of the
interesting hacks, mods, and tools which they have developed, come across,
and/or tweaked. Each presenter is given 8-10 minutes to share (this will be
determined by the number of participants), and a few minutes for questions and
answers. This year's session will be held on Sunday, June 29th. The time has
yet to be finalized.
You can find info on past Show and Tell sessions (as well as other SIG-11
activities) here.
Here's a description of the workshop from the preliminary conference
program:
- "This popular session sponsored by SIG-11 will provide a forum for
attendees to share and learn about adaptive techniques or tools involving
computer applications in assistive technology. Topics will include adaptations
to and tips on using computer devices or software, and little-known products or
unique ways to use them".
If you have an interest in presenting or have questions about the session,
please contact me ASAP. Space is limited!
