SIG-11 Members,

My term as chair is winding down ... so we are looking for the next leader(s) of SIG-11.

Would you or someone you know make a good chair, co-chair, or vice-chair for SIG-11 (Computer Applications) for 2008-2009? If so, please email me with your name or other nominees name, email, and phone number. You CAN nominate yourself.

This is a great way to get more involved in RESNA, even if you are a new member, as SIG-11 has a strong core of members that can help support and guide you in this position. The group is open to options such as having co-chairs who split the responsibilities. Responsibilities are modest and include attending monthly teleconferences; recruiting volunteer reviewers, content contributors, and presenters; and chairing the SIG-11 business meeting at annual conference.

Please respond ASAP so that:

1. We can take care of elections by email before the conference rather than using our limited meeting time at the conference.

2. The newly elected chair(s) can attend the SIG chairs meeting at the conference, which will help a lot with getting oriented to the position.
