Dear SIG-11 Members,

Spring is almost here and we really need your help to start encouraging vendors to participate in the Developers Forum. Could you please talk to your favorite vendors and ask them if they would be interested in exhibiting at the Developers Forum during RESNA 2005 in Atlanta, GA. The forum is planned for Saturday, June 25th starting at 7:00 pm in the Computer Technology Lab.

For the past eight years, SIG-11 has hosted the Developers Forum at the annual RESNA 2005 conference with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. This is a two to three hour evening event that allows product developers, researchers, and manufacturers to get together with clinicians, RESNA attendees, and end users to discuss new technology, provide feedback on existing technology, and formulate ideas for new products. The Developers Forum focuses on products in the areas of computer software/hardware, augmentative communication, and environmental control. It is an excellent opportunity for clinicians, engineers, and consumers who use this type of assistive technology to provide input into the development process. The Developers Forum always attracts a large number of conference attendees. The event is well promoted inside the Conference Program Guide and a large poster advertising the event is placed near the Exposition Hall entrance. There will also be a Developers Forum program guide listing participants and briefly describing their product.

I have attached a registration form, as well as general information about the Developers Forum. If you are interested in participating in the Forum, simply fill out the form and send it along with a $75 registration fee to RESNA. It's that simple!
