SIG-11 Volunteer / Facilitator Needed

SIG-11 Members,

SIG-11 needs an individual to organize and moderate the SIG-11 Computer Access Show & Tell at next summer's RESNA conference in Atlanta. This involves sending out a call for participation and beating the drum a bit for people to present at this perennial favorite. The workshop leader will instruct the presenters to submit short write-ups in advance of the workshop, take responsibility for collating them into a workable format, and then get copies made with the help of RESNA staff (who will cheerfully tell you where the nearest copy place is as you dash about 20 minutes before the workshop). As moderator, you will have to set the order of the presentations, keep a good eye on the clock, and be willing to be polite but firm in keeping people on schedule and within their time allotments. After that, the facilitator forwards a copy of the write-ups to the appropriate person for inclusion on the RESNA web site.

Benefits include: Your name on the conference brochure, an additional bullet on your Resume, and satisfaction in knowing that you've made an important contribution to this key SIG-11 activity.
