Preconference Sessions at RESNA 2008

October 25, 2007

Hello RESNA SIG-11 members,

Your SIG-11 leadership wants to make next year's conference relevant and interesting. To this end, we ask for your comments on specific computer access topics that you think should be taught as pre-conference sessions at RESNA 2008. Do you know of anybody who you would like to teach certain courses?

I have received an outline for a new intermediate-level course from Alan Cantor called "Adding Keyboard and Voice Access to Non-standard Programs." It is a step-by-step course on using Macro Express to improve keyboard access to non-accessible programs, and then "recycling" the same macros for use with NaturallySpeaking Preferred and Professional. Is this a course you would be interested in taking? Or maybe an introductory macro course for assistive technologists?

Please respond with your ideas by Sunday, 10/28/2007.
