RESNA News SIG-11 Report

November - December, 1999

At this point the conference in Orlando might seem very far away (especially for those of us living in the north) but, hopefully, you are not feeling too distanced from RESNA. Many of you recently finished reviewing papers and courses and I would like to thank all who volunteered to help. If you still think that RESNA only exists at the end of June, you must not be taking advantage of the SIG-11 email distribution list. The distribution list is a way to help SIG-11 members get timely information concerning computer technology and disability and to keep up with SIG events and news. Recent postings have included reminders of RESNA conference deadlines, announcements about other related conferences and seminars, new product releases, and articles from publications that you might not otherwise come across. If you have information you feel would be of interest to our members, send me a message at the address below. Thanks to Dave Jaffe who manages the list and finds many amazingly diverse and interesting news items.

The postings for the last several years are archived on the SIG-11 web page so you can check out the ones you missed. To find out more about other resources available to SIG members or to sign up for the distribution list go to http://www.resna.org/sigs/sig11/index.htm.
