The National Center for Research Resources Web site delivers -- and in a very attractive format. You can access program highlights, publications, current events and press releases. You can also access the CRISP (Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects) database - a major biomedical database on research ventures supported by the U.S. Public Health Service. CRISP has a search function that you can access directly or you can go to the NIH Gopher Menu of Crisp. There are instructions for how to use the Gopher resource as well.
