Wolverine Arm for Kid with Arm Abnormalities From: Medical Design Technology - 06/16/2017 By: Lexie Metzler Ryan Dean was excited to do things he could do things he couldn't when the 12-year-old strapped on a Wolverine-inspired arm, thanks to students at Brown University. Dean's mother has been in tough with the Helping Hands Foundation, an organization that provides support for those who are amputated. Taking advantage of 3-D printing technology, a group of students is creating fanciful but functional custom-made arms for local children with upper-arm anomalies.
