Robotic Kiss Transmitter Lets You Smooch a Loved One from Afar

In a London lab, tests of the "Kissenger" device will soon begin. This iPhone
attachment uses haptic tech to send and receive the physical sensation of a
kiss: Each person on a video call presses their lips to a rubbery pad and
feels the pressure of the other person's lips in return. The gadget's
inventors say Kissenger will provide intimacy in both person-to-person and
person-to-robot communications ... which explains why they're planning a
Turing test for kissing.
