Engineering for all From: University of Washington College of Engineering - 11/01/2017 By: Chelsea Yates AccessEngineering is laying the groundwork for engineering programs to better serve more diverse student bodies - at the UW and beyond. Launched in 2014, AccessEngineering supports the development of a diverse, well-prepared workforce of engineering graduates and faculty by increasing the participation of people with disabilities. It’s also working to improve engineering education by integrating disability-related and universal design content into engineering courses. The program is funded by the National Science Foundation.
