IBM Watson Makes Pepper Robots Smarter

Watson's cognitive computing technology will allow Pepper to continuously
gain knowledge and "understand the world the way humans do - through senses,
learning and experience."

IBM and SoftBank Robotics are planning to offer a Watson-powered version of
the Pepper humanoid robot.

Pepper will be able to tap into data and knowledge across the Internet of
Things to learn quicker and better interpret data from social media, video,
images, and text. Watson's cognitive computing technology will allow Pepper
to continuously gain knowledge and “understand the world the way humans do -
through senses, learning and experience."
