New Timesulin Cap Helps to Track Diabetes Data From: Medical Design Technology - 10/11/2016 A new insulin pen cap has been developed to help those with diabetes track the time between their insulin doses. Timesulin is a replacement Bluetooth enabled cap that can be placed on an insulin pen. This new cap includes a timer tracks the minutes, seconds and hours since the last dose was taken. With this cap, those with diabetes are at a lower risk of taking too many doses or forgetting to take their insulin. Timesulin connects to the user's smartphone using Bluetooth technology, allowing dose times, temperature, and glucose data to be stored and retrieved easily. According to Timesulin, patients will have immediate access to their data, as well as patient/clinical communication, coaching, and personalized dosing support. Timesulin also keeps track of how much insulin was injected in the previous dose.
