Otto Bock has developed a more natural-feeling prosthetic knee joint to not
only allow more comfortable and natural ambulation, but also provide a
long-lasting, durable solution so patients can spend less time at the
orthopedic mechanic, and more time living life as usual.

The development of hydraulic prosthetic joints has increased patient mobility
in recent years. Replacing bronze and needle bearings with self-lubricating
plastics helped decrease weight, increase stability, and reduce the need for
maintenance.
