Hearing Aids Tune into a Wireless World

These are exciting times for hearing aid technology. If you haven't looked at
what’s available in hearing aids recently, you may be surprised to find a
level of sophistication that was missing in previous generations. In fact, an
increasing number of today's hearing aids contain at least one programmable
digital signal processor (DSP), and a series of specialized signal processing
blocks to run advanced audio and speech-processing algorithms. Now, wireless
technology is being integrated to provide a new level of user control and
connectivity.
