Revolution of the open hardware

In this fascinating talk, Bram shows how beautiful advanced and affordable
prosthetic arms, as well as under-the-sea robots and even cars can be
manufactured by a worldwide community of passionate creators, producing a
revolution even bigger that the open software one: the open hardware
revolution.

Bram is a product designer who has been working on the forefront of 3D
printing and who cofounded Wevolver, a platform where engineers openly share
designs with their communities. At the Wevolver webplatform all information
to build technology such as robotics, 3D printers and drones is being shared
by their creators with a community of makers and tinkerers. Wevolver’s
mission is to provide everyone access to the knowledge necessary for creating
tangible products.
