Voice Interface Shield Successfully Crowdfunded

A new Kickstarter product helps makers add voice control to any Arduino
project, and it's already blasted past its $12,000 goal.

MOVI, or My Own Voice Interface, is an offline speech recognizer and voice
synthesizer developed by Berkeley-based Audeme. The MOVI shield offers a
simple programming interface with which to use over 200 customizable English
sentences, enabling devices that perform tasks such as turning off lights via
voice command.
