This year at Sensors Expo in Long Beach, CA, Dr. Mike North opened the
conference with his keynote, "Your Sixth Sense of Innovation."

Dr. North, North Design Labs president, is the host of several Discovery
Channel shows, including "Prototype This", "Outrageous Acts of Science", and
"In the Making." As the titles suggest, the shows highlight the combination
of engineering and creativity (the practical and the absurd) and failure.

"Failure is good," he adds, "That's when you learn things."
