An artificial replacement for a diseased or defective body part should
absolutely be available to patients who require it. The issue is when these
artificial parts become electively installed, as will undoubtedly happen for
those willing and able to afford becoming a cyborg. In that respect, there’s
quite a bit to consider before we all run off making ourselves into robots.
