For too long, society allowed older adults and persons with disabilities to
be defined by what they could not do. But tireless advocacy from individuals
and organizations have empowered a new generation to celebrate the
achievements and capabilities of disabled individuals, rather than dwelling
on their perceived limitations.

We've asked a group of experts in the field to share their thoughts on this
matter of critical importance to society.

These are journalists, senior care experts, and authors who are touched by
disability on daily basis. We'd like to thank our experts for sharing their
