Four Deaf Students Launch a Revolutionary Way to Communicate

MotionSavvy, developed a way to help break the communication barrier between
the deaf and the hearing by creating an affordable device that uses Leap
Motion technology. This technology can read and translate American Sign
Language into spoken English using gesture recognition. Ideally, a deaf
person would sign into the device, which would then translate their hand
movements into English. Conversely, a hearing individual would be able to
speak into the device and have their message translated into text for a deaf
person to read.
