When activated, the app turns on the rear-facing camera of the phone so that an online human operator can see the immediate vicinity and assist the user with the particular problem he or she is facing. For example, EyeBridge Limited's website shows a visually impaired person using EyeBridge to identify what bus is stopping at the corner bus stop. The service is available at different price levels starting at approximate $34 per month for 60 minutes of 24/7 global access.
