Big Help for Reading on Small Screens

Notwithstanding the clarity and readability of e-readers in daylight, users’
objections to reading large documents on a digital display only intensify
when trying to read work files on a smartphone’s screen. But help is on the
way in the form of document viewers that organize information for better
accessibility and navigation—going so far as generating a pan-and-zoom “movie
trailer” for documents that extracts salient elements and visual focus points.
