Formfitting, Self-Powered Artificial Retina

Researchers at Stanford University have developed a silicon retina that has
two advantages over others in development. First, it gets its power and data
from light entering the eye rather than through external wires. And second,
the implant can be bent to conform to the curvature of the back of ther
person's eye.
