Typinator Adds HTML Snippets Set From: PCWorld By: Peter Cohen Ergonis Software on Tuesday introduced a new HTML snippets set for Typinator, its auto-typing utility for Mac OS X. It's free for Typinator users; Typinator costs $31.22. Typinator helps save you the trouble of typing common words, phrases and content by using shortcuts instead. It detects specific sequences of typed characters and then automatically replaces them with text snippets, graphics, URLs, dates and special characters. The new HTML snippets set helps people who are coding Web pages to save time as they're creating or editing HTML content. The snippet set contains more than 100 HTML elements; typing a double less-than sign followed by the name of the desired HTML element, and Typinator will automatically place it at the insertion point. Typinator requires Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
