Foot Mouse From: Rehab Managemant - Rehab Today Bili Inc, City of Industry, CA offers its Footime foot mouse, which allows people with upper limb challenges to use a computer by foot. The foot-controlled mouse with programmable buttons (for shortcuts) speeds up workflow and reduces repetitive hand/eye movement between hand input devices. The foot mouse is a two-part device. The "slipper" with cursor controller (pointer) is worn and controlled by one foot and can move around on a big mouse mat as a "hand" mouse does. The pedal, with five buttons, mouse clicks, defined shortcuts, and a scroll roller, is controlled by the other foot. A roller turning left/right scrolls the screen up/down, while the heel rests on the floor comfortably. A side switch allows the user to choose between two states; one state includes all the mouse clicks; the other state includes all five buttons for programming. The software allows each definable button to be defined with two sets of functions, giving the user up to 10 shortcuts (functions) for each program.
