Sampathkumar Veeraraghavan's interest in engineering emerged in a high school
computer class. But his calling came after a friend lamented the dearth of
services for his autistic child. Now he and a group of medical professionals
have developed an automated screening system for detecting the possibility of
autism in children as young as 18 months.
