Real Stories on Technology Use The web page of the Beach Center on Disability at the University of Kansas hosts a very nice set of stories on how people have used technology to improve the quality of life of persons or families affected by disability. Sharon Davis of The Arc (US) was instrumental in contacting many of the families, interviewing, and writing many of the stories. Technology Use refers to how families and individuals affected by disability, and professionals who work for them, can use various technologies (such as the internet or assistive technology) to improve the quality of life of the person or family.
