RESNA SIG-11 Resource Information Distribution List The Distribution List is an email service to SIG-11 members. Periodically SIG-11 sends its members information about the upcoming RESNA conference, SIG-11 activities, and current or emerging applications of computer technology in rehabilitation. All current SIG-11 members and individuals who have attended the most recent SIG-11 Business Meeting at the annual conference receive these emailed "tidbits". Please feel free to forward any Distribution List material to your colleagues. You might take the opportunity to promote RESNA, describe the many benefits of being a RESNA SIG-11 member. and explain the opportunities for education and networking at the annual conference. In addition, if you come across any material that you believe would be of interest to your fellow SIG-11 members, please forward it to me for dissemination. Your contribution will be duly recognized and appreciated. Every submitted item is approved by the SIG-11 Chair before it is disseminated. Disclaimer Distribution List material is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute an endorsement of a particular policy, product, position, issue, conference, presentation, research, website, or therapy by SIG-11, its officers or its employers, or RESNA. Announcements only If you would like to only receive emails about the conference and SIG-11 activities and not the computer applications tidbits, please let me know. I will arrange to send just the information you desire. Distribution List Archives Since 1994, 1082 tidbits have been sent (not including those sent this year). An archive of the individual emails from 1995 to mid-2002 can be found on the RESNA SIG-11 website at: http://www.resna.org/sigs/sig11/tidbits.htm I have recently decided that I would provide an annual zipped archive of the Distribution List material rather than post individual items on the website. These files are now available at: http://www.resna.org/sigs/sig11/tidbits.htm#zipped Each zipped file contains an index text file that lists the approximate date of sending, the tidbit's filename, and it's subject line. Also included are any images that accompany the files. The older material clearly no longer represents the state-of-the-art of computer applications in rehabilitation, but at the minimum, it is of historic value, documenting the advance of technology, design, and thinking over the years. RESNA Listserv Please note that the Distribution List is meant to be a broadcast only medium. For situations where a dialog or discussion is sought, the RESNA Listserv is a better option. For information on how to subscribe, visit: http://www.resna.org/sigs/sig11/resnalst.htm If you have any questions about this material, please contact me. I hope to see you all in Atlanta.
