Lightglove Lightglove is a new human interface device that falls into the category of virtual controller. It is worn as a cuff on the underside of the wrist. The light scans the palm area of the hand and when a finger is sensed in the light beams, it pushes a "light button". The device also senses hand motion for on-screen navigation. This allows the user to "air type", web surf or play a game while using the visual feedback from their monitor or PDA. In addition, the Lightglove can be used as an X-10 controller to allow individuals with restricted mobility to turn their electronics off and on with a minimum amount of effort. This device is a "no impact" input mechanism. As an assistive technology, the Lightglove can also be used as an infrared remote control to activate special access doors without having to push a mechanical button. Link: http://www.lightglove.com
