Disabled students can't work within demands of FCAT From: St. Petersburg Times Online By: Martin Dyckman Florida Governor Jeb Bush has appointed a task force to recommend reasonable accommodations for disabled high school kids to take the state's all-important FCAT test. He acted after a legislative reform was blocked. Currently, blind students must be able to read the test in braille, even though it has long since been outmoded by talking computers.
