Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information and Exchange http://cirrie.buffalo.edu/ CIRRIE's mission is to facilitate the sharing of information and expertise in rehabilitation research between the US and other countries. Primary Objectives: 1. Develop an international rehabilitation research database. 2. Assist rehabilitation research conference organizers in the US, funded by the Office of Special and Rehabilitation Services (OSERS), to establish an international component within domestic conferences by involving eminent colleagues from other countries. 3. Facilitate international exchanges of rehabilitation research experts between research centers in other countries and OSERS funded projects in the US by providing airfare. 4. Disseminate information to rehabilitation service providers on cultural issues to meet the needs of foreign-born persons in the US, with a focus on recent immigrants.
