Dear Colleagues, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well over the holiday period. While you lazing on beaches, climbing mountains, sailing or catching up on the accummulated work of the last few months or years, please do not forget that you can still submit papers to CVHI 2002 and that some young researcher's bursaries are still available - see new deadlines below for the submission of papers etc. This is a very good opportunity for young researchers (up to age 35 with extensions for child career breaks, compulsary military service or people with disabilities), as it covers the full costs of conference attendance - travel, accommodation and registration fee. For more information, see the conference web site http://www.elec.gla.ac.uk/Events_page/CVHI/. The cost of conference attendance is as low as possible and the fee is very modest at 200 euros. We hope the majority of delegates will choose to stay in the conference hotel. The costs are again very reasonable at 62 euros per person per night for full board in a single room and 43 euros in a double room. Best wishes.
