As you may know I am the general chair of the ICCHP'02 conference (8th
International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs), to
be held in Linz, Austria July 15 - 20, 2002. 

ICCHP focuses on all aspect of Human Computer Interaction and the usage of
information technology for people with specialneeds. Assistive devices,
accessibility and usability of ICT and special systems for people with
disabilities will be discussed. Implications for the quality of life and for
society in general should enable a holistic and interdisciplinary approach -
symbolized by the ICCHP cube. 

ICCHP offers a unique platform for outstanding researchers, practitioners and
experts from around the world to present their work and experiences in
papers, short papers and posters. Additionally specialists are invited to
organise and chair specific thematic topics independently within the thematic
framework of the conference.  

There are opportunities to form your own track, name your own speaker group,
and carry out a miniprogram of interest to you. Klaus Missenberger is the
contact at the University of Linz, and I will turn you over to him for follow
up. If of interest, or just a paper on your own, please contact Klaus now. 
An official call for papers will go out in September.
