Bionic Ear Still Delights Its Maker

Professor Graeme Clark is the Melbourne [Australia] inventor of the bionic
ear. Since he first implanted his experimental hearing device into the ear of
road accident victim Rod Saunders in 1978, 30,000 deaf people can now hear
with the aid of his device.
