Acrobat 5.0 talks, meets Section 508

Adobe Systems Inc. has geared up it Acrobat 5.0 document portability software
for Sedction 508 compliance, digital signatures, and reading aloud to users. 

Version 5.0 saves in Portable Document Format, Rich Text Format, Hypertext
Markup Language, Extensible Markup Language, or Adobe Forms Data Format. 

There are multiple types of permissions and passwords for accessibility
products such as screen readers or braille displays. Rick Brown, the product
manager at Adobe Systems, said Acrobat 5.0 will come out next month for about
$249 per standalone copy or Microsoft Windows or IBM OS/2 platforms.
