New technology is bittersweet for blind Web users

When Julia Sizemore visits a Web site, she sees a faint hint of light - at
most. The blind Fremont woman will never see  colorful graphics, let alone
the handy links to  different pages. Yet Sizemore faithfully checks her
Hotmail account every day and regularly visits favorite sites like
Metallica.com.
