Signing Avatar

Three new avatar models were completed for this project ... Andy, Tonya, and
Raven. Improvements include smoother wrist movements, addition of shoulder
joint and flexibility in their hands, plus the ability to adjust the speed of
the signing. The Signing Avatar vocabulary is now over 300 signs and 20
facial expressions. The animation software automatically finger spells any
word not in the sign dictionary, so that no words are omitted, even if the
sign is not yet in the sign library. Roscoe was developed for an
entertainment demonstration ... the "Chicken Dance," but he's enjoying sign
language as well!
