Computers for People with Disabilities (National Cristina Foundation)

Scope: The National Cristina Foundation (NCF) matches companies and
individuals interested in donating computers and related equipment with
nonprofit organizations and school systems that serve people with
disabilities and high-risk or low-income students and communities. 

Deadline: None 

Funds: Donations vary according to applicant need and computer availability.
The foundation does not make cash grants but donates obsolete, surplus, and
used computer equipment from participating corporations and individuals. 

Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations and public agencies are eligible. 

Tip: The foundation gives priority to organizations that foster training for
people with special needs in a learning environment. 

Areas: NCF's mission is to ensure access to computer technology and to share
technology solutions to give people with disabilities, students at risk, and
economically disadvantaged communities the opportunity, through training, to
lead more productive lives. The foundation aims to donate equipment as well
as help build viable community systems.
