Digital Mice EyeTech Digital Systems has developed an efficient alternative to the mouse and keyboard. The Quick Glance System is a new eyetracker designed to work under Windows 95. It allows the user to place the cursor anywhere on the screen simply by looking at the desired location. A camera mounted on the computer monitor is focused on one eye. The Quick Glance software processes the camera image to determine where the user is looking (gaze point), and the cursor is then placed at the gaze point. "Mouse clicks" are done with either a slow eye blink or a hardware switch. http://members.aol.com/etsbus/eyetech_home.htm MacUser Utility: Reading Mouse Following in the footsteps of Talking Mouse, MacUser present a free utility: Reading Mouse, an animated face that will read any text file to you in any PlainTalk voice you like. Included in the Reading Mouse package are two faces, Bitsy and Patricia, but Reading Mouse can use any faces that work with Talking Mouse. Volume and reading speed are user-defined, and document navigation is a snap. Both fun and functional, Reading Mouse will add life to any text. http://www.hotfiles.com/swbrowse/MC14/7/8/mac-MC14781.html
