The purpose of this message is to inform you of the creation of GLADNET, the Global Applied Disability Research Network on Employment and Training. The founding of GLADNET has been facilitated by the International Labour Office, a United Nations specialized agency. GLADNET brings together the Global community of researchers, employers, organizations representing persons with disabilities unions and governments in an effort to share information and engage in joint applied research in order to advance employment and training opportunities for persons with disabilities in an integrated setting.
