The purpose of Assistive Technology On-Line is to provide a wide range of information on AT to consumers, family members, and professionals. This information also includes links to other relevant information sources available on the Internet. The server is still under construction but already includes useful information including descriptions of RESNA, the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers, and all of the state "Tech Act" programs. You are invited to browse AT On-Line. It can be accessed with any WWW browser such as Mosaic, Netscape, or Lynx by opening the location: http://www.asel.udel.edu/at-online/ Please feel free to give feedback on AT On-Line. Collaboration is sought in AT areas other than AAC and Robotics, such as mobility. Development of WWW pages for other organizations who do not have the capacity or desire to maintain their own server is also possible. AT On-Line is a joint project of ASEL's RERCs on AAC and Robotics, the Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative (DATI), and its SEM (Science, Engineering and Math) program. Primary support for this project comes from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). Additional support comes from the National Science Foundation and the Nemours Foundation. For further information, contact: Patrick Demasco University of Delaware A.I.
