SIG-11 Members:
It's that time of year again! As we all prepare to head to the Conference in Minneapolis, we need to think about who we want to lead our SIG for the next couple of years. Sharon Ferrell has filled the Chair for the past year, and will now retire to the Old Chairs Home, while Andy and Bruce graduate from their Co-Vice positions to Full Chairs. (If they both do half-a$$ed jobs, will that be complete?) So it's time to nominate a new SIG-11 Vice Chair. *
The Vice Chair is responsible for:
Assisting the Chair in leadership and administrative duties for the SIG, and
Coordinating the SIG-11 Developers Forum, a great opportunity to network, schmooze, and generally make a significant contribution to the SIG membership and the annual conference.
Who do you want to steer SIG-11 into 2003 and 2004?
Do you want to be a part of the leadership?
Nominating is simple-we do it in very little time at the SIG-11 business meeting during the conference. This year, it will be from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, June 30th. Food might be provided. (!) If you can't be there, please let another SIG-11 member know your wishes, or send the chairs a message with your nomination. Only the members attending the meeting will get to vote.
* Watch out, if you don't nominate someone, you might be nominated yourself!
