With the RESNA conference less than a week away, this is a friendly reminder to all members and potential members of SIG-11 to mark your calendars and PDA's to attend our annual business meeting. The event will take place from 4:30 to 5:30pm on Saturday, June 21st, at the Chicago A-F room on the Exhibit Level.
If you are unable to join us in Atlanta for this meeting but have an important issue you want to share, please forward your idea(s) to either of the SIG-11 Chairs, Andy Lin (alin1986@yahoo.com) or Bruce Fleming (bfleming@wavejump.com), by June 19th.
As you pack your bags for the trip to Atlanta, here are some questions to start meditating on:
Who would be good candidates for vice chair(s)?
What topics would you like to see brought up for discussion?
In what ways do you see the SIG evolving in the next 5 years?
How can we establish increase involvement of newer members of the SIG and membership of international professionals working in the field?
When and where is the Developer's Forum? (Answer: 7:00-9:00 pm, Saturday, June 21st. Courtland Room, ACC level)
How is it possible that the weather forecast for Atlanta during RESNA is for thunderstorms, highs in the mid 80's and lows in the 70's!?!
