In helping to organize the Developers Forum for the past few years, I have had several comments/misunderstandings (from RESNA attendees and companies that we have called to participate in the Forum) about the name. People seem to be somewhat confused about the format of the event. Many think it is more formal, like a panel discussion. For those of us that are familiar with this event and attend it regularly at the conference, this isn't a problem, but I am wondering if it would be helpful to the companies that we call and/or new conference attendees if we considered changing the name of the event.

There are certainly pros and cons to changing it. Give this some thought and we can talk about it at the business meeting. Please submit any ideas for a new name to myself or Dave Jaffe. I have only one idea so far: "Developers Open House"
