It is time to elect a new vice-chair for SIG 11. Our current vice-chair, John Goldthwaite, will be moving into the role of chair at the Orlando conference. Following the plan approved last year, the new vice-chair will work with John during the next year and move into the chair position at the 2001 conference. Please send me nominations for the new vice chair by the end of April. I will confirm that the nominees are interested/available. Elections will start early in May and will end on May 31st and will be conducted by e-mail. If you know if a good but reluctant candidate, let me know and I will help apply gentle arm-twisting if necessary.
