I am belatedly requesting nominations for Vice Chair for SIG-11 for next year. Sharon Ferrell who is our current Vice Chair will be taking over as Chair at the annual business meeting next week. I unfortunately have neglected the nomination and election process for the new Vice Chair. It does not seem proper to rush through the election process between now and the conference, so I suggest that we get the nominations in and announce them at the SIG-11 business meeting at the conference. This will give members attending the conference a chance to meet the candidates and perhaps for them to do some campaigning. We can hold the election after the meeting by electronic mail if that is acceptable to everyone. I apologize for this lapse in memory.
