Call for Volunteers for Developers Forum

SIG-11 members:

I am looking for some volunteers to assist with calling vendors to invite them to the SIG-11 Developers Forum. This is a fairly easy task. I will provide you with a list of vendor names and phone numbers to call and basic information about the Forum that you can rely on to them. If they are interested you can fax or email a registration form to them (which I will also send to you).

This is another great (and simple) way to get involved with RESNA. If you have a personal contact with a particular company and you would like to call them, please let me know. For those of you who are not familiar with the Developers Forum - it is an annual event which takes place during the RESNA conference. This year it will be held at the conference site (Omni Rosen Hotel) on Saturday July 1st from 6:30-8:30pm in the Computer Tech Lab. This is an informal chance for vendors to interact with RESNA members (in particular, SIG-11 members) and obtain feedback about new products, discuss ideas for product enhancements and possibly future products. We are welcoming not only computer access hardware and software vendors, but also AAC and Environmental Control vendors also. Information on past Developers Forums are posted on the RESNA SIG-11 website:

Please give me a call or send me an email if you are interested in helping out. Thanks!
